The first episode aired on NBC on September 8, 1966, to mixed reviews, but over time, Star Trek has become one of the most beloved science fiction franchises in pop culture — and it doesn’t seem like the fandom will slow down any time soon.
Collectors can expect three autographs and a relic card in every box of the product, and every case includes an autograph from either William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, or Patrick Stewart.
The base set includes 90 cast cards featuring characters from throughout the expansive Star Trek universe, including The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Enterprise, Discovery, Strange New Worlds, Lower Decks, and various films.
In every pack, collectors will find one base card with a puzzle back, which is the only base parallel.
The product’s autographs combine to land 1:8 packs and come in a variety of concepts, including:
- Aliens
- Bordered
- Bridge Crew
- Canvas
- Classic TV
- Dual Autographs
- Full Bleed
- Inscriptions
- Legends
- Movies
- Quotable

Autographed cards come in varying levels of rarity: Scarce (Print Run of 100 or fewer), Extremely Limited (100-200), Very Limited (200-300), Limited (300-500), and Normal (500 or more). The scarcest autographs have a specified quantity range.
Rare finds include 1/1 Printing Plate Autographs and Cut Autographs of Rene Auberjonois (/50) and a 5 Captains oversized card with cut signatures from William Shatner, Patrick Stewart, Kate Mulgrew, Avery Brooks and Scott Bakula (/33). There are also Autographed Relics, which add a piece of costume fabric.
Collectors also have plenty of inserts to chase, and should find several in every box. Concepts include:
- All Good Things Uncut (1:12 packs)
- In The Pale Moonlight Uncut (1:12)
- Picard’s Journey (1:12)

A handful of additional cards can also be found in Incentive Boxes made available to those purchasing at least 10 cases of the product from Rittenhouse. Cards inside could be additional cards from some inserts, exclusive autographs, or base printing plates.
